TECHNOLOGICAL COMFORT
Thanks to Hill Start Assist technology, pulling away and manoeuvres on slopes are made easier.
When you're on a slope ( > 3%), the Hill Start Assist function allows you to hold your vehicle still for a moment (about two seconds), giving you time to switch from the brake to the accelerator pedal.
The hands-free tailgate allows the motorised tailgate to be opened or closed. The tailgate can be opened and closed in several ways:
-using the electronic hands-free access and start-up key
-using the external or internal controls on the tailgate
-using the control on the dashboard
-using the "arms full" access under the rear bumper
The "Access with arms full" function allows the vehicle's motorised tailgate to be opened or closed with a simple movement of the foot under the rear bumper.
The vehicle is equipped with a 180° video camera on the boot lid (Visiopark 1) and in the radiator grille (Visiopark 2). This system allows you to view the immediate surroundings of your vehicle on the touchscreen with the help of cameras. The parking sensors add to the information gained from the view from the top of the vehicle. An image of the top of the vehicle in its immediate surroundings is reconstructed in real time as the manoeuvre progresses, allowing 360° vision.
This visualisation makes it easier to align your vehicle when parking and to see all obstacles that are close by.
Thanks to lateral ultrasound sensors, this system provides active parking assistance:
- it identifies a parking space according to the size of the vehicle thanks to sensors installed on the front and rear bumpers
- it then takes control of the steering system to park in this space
The driver manages acceleration, braking, gears and the clutch (manual gearbox). During parking entry and exit, the system provides visual and audible information to the driver for safe manoeuvring. The driver can take back steering control at any time by holding the steering wheel.
Park Assist provides assistance for parallel parking (entry and exit) and bay parking monoeuvres.
ROAD SIGN RECOGNITION AND RECOMMENDATION
The camera at the top of the windscreen detects and reads speed limit signs and end of speed limit signs, and displays them on the instrument panel. The system also takes account of the speed limit information given on the map in the navigation system. Specific speed limits, such as those for trucks, are not displayed.
The speed limit recommendation completes the tool: the driver can choose to adapt the vehicle's set speed to the speed limit read by the camera.
