The SUV PEUGEOT 3008 GT has achieved the highest possible rating of 5 stars in the 2016 Euro NCAP car safety performance assessment programme.

The Enhanced Park Assist system Standard on GT uses cameras so the driver can view all areas around the vehicle on the on-board touch screen. A bird’s eye view of the vehicle and its immediate vicinity is displayed in real time as and when you manoeuvre.
This means the driver has a 360° view and can see any nearby obstacles.

This technology is the latest generation in automatic emergency braking systems that intervenes if it detects an imminent collision. The camera and radar can detect both mobile and stationary obstacles. Should the driver fail to brake, either sufficiently or at all, the system triggers the braking system instead of the driver. Thus, Active Brake Safety Standard on GT helps to avoid impact or minimise the consequences by reducing the impact speed.

Using a radar sensor Standard on GT, the system detects the vehicle in front and automatically maintains a safe, previously-set distance by using the brake or accelerator.
This feature can be activated from 30km per hour and is available up to 180km per hour.

The SUV PEUGEOT 3008 is agile in the city but also loves to express itself off the beaten track with the Advanced Grip Control Standard on GT. A dial on the centre console allows you to choose the grip mode that best suits the terrain you are negotiating, be it snow, mud or sand. When faced with the steepest slopes, the innovative Hill Assist Descent Control feature automatically regulates the vehicle’s speed depending on the gradient of the slope, putting the vehicle into a gradual and smooth descent, without using the accelerator or brake.
